On Monday 12th October we held a tea party at St Bartholomew's Church to mark ' 2015 World Mental Health Day' and to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation Charity. The Tea & Talk event was a great way of getting people together to talk about mental health and contribute to the breaking down of the stigma that surrounds mental ill health. This was done in a fun, friendly and supportive environment, while having a cuppa and some delicious cakes! It is part of the vision of the church to reach out to it's community and to help support organisations such as, the Mental Health Foundation, in its work to promote good mental wellbeing for all.
We are happy to report that £84.64 was raised for the charity on the day. For further details of this event, or future events please contact
